We’re including this project to demonstrate that we understand the audience of young boys. Nemo was hired by Hot Wheels for brand design and strategy work from January 2015 through July 2016. We created a brand platform, principles of play, and articulated future trajectory of the brand leading up to the 50th anniversary in 2018. Additional projects included brand iconography/type design, packaging design, retail planogram systems, broadcast television concepting, and audience insights. This animation is a quick glimpse at some of the applied design work that laddered up to the strategy.
